If you have never been baptized after salvation, baptism is your next step!
What is baptism?
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change. It’s a public declaration of how Jesus changed your life. Being baptized shows others that you’ve decided to follow Jesus, and allows them to celebrate this decision with you (Acts 16:31-34).
Baptism doesn’t save a person; it’s a symbol of being buried in your old life and resurrected in a new life in Jesus. (1 Peter 3:21). The power that brought Jesus back to life is the same power Jesus uses to change our lives – and we are excited to celebrate that with you!
Baptism is a powerful prophetic act. As illustrated in the famous crossing of the Red Sea
(Exodus 14) - you go down into the water and the terrible things that have owned you in the past- shame, addiction, hurt, rejection, failure, etc - go into the water with you but when you come out of the water, your enemies remain.
You are set free to live the life God has promised you! (1 Corinthians 10:1-2)
God loves to wipe out enemies on your behalf.
God loves to get rid of your bondage.
God loves to take you out of terrible places and bring you to better places.
God loves to show up when everybody says your finished and say no, it’s really just beginning
That is what baptism is all about.
Why should I be baptized?
Obedience to Jesus shows we believe and follow Him. (1 John 2:3). Because Jesus went public about His love for us, we can go public about our love for Him.
Being baptized shows that we turn away from a life of sin toward Jesus, the only one who can change us (Acts 2:38-41).
when should I be baptized?
For everyone who decides to follow Jesus, baptism is the next step. Anyone who commits his or her life to follow Jesus is ready to be baptized (Acts 8:12).
children and baptism
As parents, we can help point our children to Jesus, but they decide if they will commit their lives to Him (Romans 10:9).
Any instance of baptism follows a person’s decision to trust Jesus for their salvation and commitment to follow Him (Acts 10:47-48). When children express their desire to give their heart to Jesus, baptism is the next step. We believe there is no "junior" Holy Spirit so when the Lord calls our children, we want to help them hear and obey no matter what age they are.

when can you be baptized?
Generally speaking, we have baptism services about 3-4 times a year and they are so much fun to be a part of. You can invite friends and family to celebrate with you, and there will be a ton of people from church come out to cheer you on!
To find the next baptism service, go to EVENTS and type "baptism" in the search bar.
